So many things have come to pass
With a speed that has me reeling
Like uranium reaching critical mass
Mounting emotions gathering feeling
Each new day must be taken
One at a time in its order
So that nothing is mistaken
Or goes outside the border
Take each day and savor it well
Worry not for the morrow
The present day is like a silver bell
Make it sing with gladness not sorrow
We know not what tomorrow brings
It will take care of itself
Life is not like material things
Stored away forgotten on a shelf
You must live it with all its sorrows and joys
Take it as it comes to you
Make a racket make some noise
That will chase away the saddening blue
